Can’t send and receive Email in MSN
- Click Start
- Click Search in the upper right-hand corner
- In the Search box, type the following: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\MSN
- Press the ENTER key, The MSN folder will show.
- In the MSN folder, do the below options (if you are unable to find the db30 folder)
- Click ‘Organize’, then ‘Folder and Search options’, on the screen click ‘View’ tab
- Put a dot on ‘Show hidden files and folders’
- Uncheck the ‘Hide extensions for knowing file types’ and ‘Hide protected operating system files options’
- Click ‘Apply’, then ‘OK’
- The db30 folder will appear inside the MSN folder.
- Open the db30 folder then look for files that end as MSN-com.sdf and MSN-com_JMF.sdf
- Right-click, choose ‘Rename’ and add .old after .sdf to both these files( example, Msn-com.sdf.old)
- Close the db30 folder.
- Then Sign into Msn and wait for 30- 40 minutes for the emails to get synchronized.
